”For a Better World...”

Why Wilton?

Wilton, Connecticut is a vibrant suburban community of approximately 18,000 residents located 55 miles from New York City in Fairfield County, CT.  Most residents are college graduates who work as professionals and business executives, and demonstrate strong support for the public schools.  The quality of the schools is often cited as a primary reason for moving to Wilton, and many parents serve actively as volunteers and members of our school-based Parent Teacher Associations, Booster clubs, and/or the Wilton Education Foundation.

Our district is recognized nationally as a premier, dynamic, learner focused school system committed to educational excellence.   Each of our schools is among the top-ranked schools in Connecticut.  In 2019, Wilton High School ranked #2 in the state and #56 in the nation on Newsweek’s annual list of America’s Top High Schools.  Niche.com ranked the Wilton Public Schools’ academics #2 in the state, #3 in the New York City metro area and 15th best in the United States.

Our four schools are organized by grade level (PK-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12) and maximize opportunities for innovative learning.  Artistic and athletic performances are showcased at the Clune Center for the Arts and Zeoli Field House which also serve as community hubs and sites of may community events.
