Do You Want Greater Cooperation & Less Yelling with Your Kids?
Join WYC's How to Talk so Kids Will Listen™* Parenting Skills Workshop
Do you want greater cooperation and less yelling with your kids?
Do you want a deeper connection with your children?
Do you want to understand them better?
Parents find themselves repeating the same suggestions and requests regularly, but aren’t seeing any change in the results. Although we seek deeper understanding and connection with our children we sometimes feel frustrated and even farther apart.
If this resonates, join like-minded parents in a workshop hosted by Wilton Youth Council and led by Susan Bauerfeld, PhD, on How to Talk so Kids Will Listen™. This workshop gives you the know-how you need to be more effective as a parent and will connect you with other parents of elementary school children. In this supportive, small community you will learn how to strengthen your most important relationships. You leave with practical tools and strategies you can implement immediately. At the end of the four workshops, you will find friendship and connection with other parents.
Of this workshop, a previous participant said:
“I wanted to thank you! I really enjoyed the course I attended. I feel like I have a new set of wings! You have taught me to look at things with a new insight and have given me the tools to implement them. This has helped me with everything in my daily life - of being a mother, a wife, sister, teacher, friend...etc” H.S. Participant in a previous workshop.
The FREE How to Talk workshop series will be held on four consecutive Tuesday evenings in January (7, 14, 21 & 28) from 7-8:30 pm at Comstock Community Center and are specifically geared towards parents of elementary age children.
