Miller-Driscoll Shortened Day Reminders!   Thursday 11/16 - Tuesday 11/21

1:10 pm - ALL students getting picked up will be called to the pickup lines.

1:15 pm - Bus Dismissal Begins

Any changes to student plans must be entered in School Dismissal Manager by 10:30 am SHARP on shortened days.

School Dismissal Manager - CLICK HERE

  • K-2 students getting picked up with PreK siblings should be picked up at the ORANGE pickup location so that it defaults to the younger student.  Please change School Dismissal Manager to the correct color, if necessary.

  • Pre-K and Kindergarten students MUST be met at the bus stop by a parent/guardian or emergency contact. If there is no one to meet your student, he or she will be brought back to Miller-Driscoll's Main Office. (Please note, discretion is used by the bus drivers when dropping off students in grades 1 and 2. For example, if someone is usually outside to meet the bus and they do not see anyone waiting on a shortened day, the bus driver may bring the student back to school if they feel that it is an unsafe situation even if they are a student in 1st or 2nd grade).

  • THE KITCHEN IS CLOSED on shortened days, which means NO LUNCH or MILK is SERVED so please send students in with a hearty snack over the next few days.

In-Person Conferences:

If you choose to have your conference here at Miller-Driscoll, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled conference to allow time to check in.

K-2 Check-in = Main Office

PreK Check-in = PreK Office

While you are at your conference, please visit the Lost and Found racks near the Main office and the Book Fair in the Library Learning Commons from 2:00-4:30pm.

We have many jackets, sweatshirts, water bottles on our Lost and Found racks. Any items left behind will be donated after the Thanksgiving break to the Turnover Shop in town.  Items labeled with names were returned to students.

Friday November 17th is “Stuffy day”

The winner for our school-wide Spirit day voting was Stuffy Day. Students may bring ONE SMALL (i.e. fits in a backpack) Stuffy to join them for school this Friday.

Important Miller Driscoll Short Day reminder!

Please review your School Dismissal Manager plans for today, Tuesday, November 21 as soon as possible. We have had several families over the last few days with plans for afterschool activities that were cancelled or changed due to the short day schedules, but not reflected in School Dismissal Manager. These changes must be made in SDM by 10:30am!
(Pickups begin at 1:10pm and buses will start loading at 1:15pm.)

Thank you for your assistance in getting all of our students to the correct destination!

And we all hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!
