The F.L.I.G.H.T (Future Focused, Learning, Individualized, Growth Oriented, Healthy, Transition) program is designed to ensure that all freshmen students have a smooth transition from eighth grade to high school, becoming successful high school learners. The program aligns with Wilton High School’s Vision Statement, Core Values and Beliefs, as well as the 21st Century Learning Expectations. F.L.I.G.H.T. students meet in a classroom environment and will develop their ability to make decisions, think critically, build relationships and embrace social and emotional learning.  F.L.I.G.H.T. will also encompass instruction on digital literacy. The digital literacy components of F.L.I.G.H.T. will include an introduction to the resources in the WHS LLC, digital citizenship lessons, and the construction of the basic components of the WHS ePortfolio.
